About Us
Founded in 2014 by principals Vivian Featherston and Jeffrey Featherston, Featherston | Studio is an architectural and interior design firm focused on creating thoughtful, adaptable solutions across a wide range of project types. Our work spans the Science + Technology, Tenant Improvement, Corporate Campus, Retail, Multifamily, Government, Residential, and Hospitality markets.
At the core of our studio is a belief in teamwork and collaboration. We work closely with each other, our clients, and in the community because we’ve seen time and again that the best projects come from strong partnerships and clear communication.
Our approach is intentionally hands-on. Instead of large, layered teams, we staff each project with two to three licensed Architects and Designers—each bringing more than 20 years of experience to the table. This allows us to stay closely involved in the day-to-day work, make informed decisions quickly, and maintain a consistent vision from start to finish.
The result is a more efficient process, stronger oversight, and higher-quality design—delivered in less time and at a better overall value. It’s a model our clients appreciate, and one that continues to define how we work.
